Özet
The quality of education in the field of communication is directly dependent on the extent to which theoretical knowledge is supported by practical application. In practice-oriented disciplines such as radio and television broadcasting, students’ acquisition of professional competence is made possible through the provision of workshop and studio environments that closely resemble real production settings. This study aims to examine the contribution of Radio and Television Application Workshops, to be established at universities, to the development of students’ professional skills. The effects of workshop-based education on student practice are analysed within the framework of technical competence, creative production, and alignment with industry requirements. The study's findings reveal that application workshops are an indispensable component of communication education.

Abstract
İletişim alanında verilen eğitimin niteliği, teorik bilginin uygulama ile desteklenmesine doğrudan bağlıdır. Radyo ve televizyon yayıncılığı gibi uygulama ağırlıklı alanlarda öğrencilerin mesleki yeterlilik kazanabilmesi, gerçek üretim ortamlarına benzer atölye ve stüdyo imkânlarının sağlanmasıyla mümkündür. Bu çalışma, üniversitelerde kurulması planlanan Radyo ve Televizyon Uygulama Atölyelerinin, öğrencilerin mesleki becerilerinin gelişimine olan katkısını incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Atölye temelli eğitimin öğrenci pratiği üzerindeki etkileri; teknik yeterlilik, yaratıcı üretim ve sektörel uyum bağlamında ele alınmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, uygulama atölyelerinin iletişim eğitiminde vazgeçilmez bir unsur olduğu ortaya konulmuştur.
